Hi, I’m Makayla!

I’m a stylist in training at Ethos Salon. I love creating long, layered haircuts, lived-in brunettes and blondes, and effortless, everyday styles. I’m passionate about color that grows out beautifully and hair that feels just as good as it looks.

I focus on prioritizing haircuts, dimensional color, and keeping hair healthy and happy. I’ve trained at the Aveda Institute and continue to refine my skills under the mentorship of the owner here, Kaitlin.

I take time during consultations to truly understand your goals—whether you’re looking for something low maintenance, high maintenance, or beautifully simple. I love walking my guests through the plan, offering home care guidance, and making sure you feel confident and refreshed when you leave.

Being part of Ethos Salon means being part of a supportive, education-driven community. I’m inspired by the teamwork and positive culture here, and I’m committed to continued growth so I can better serve my guests. My biggest goal right now is mastering techniques that elevate your experience and results every time you sit in my chair.

When I’m not in the salon, you’ll usually find me hiking, reading, spending time with friends, or hanging out with dogs. I also love being outdoors, shopping, and teaching dance—and on my days off, you might catch me cleaning or grocery shopping and resetting for the week ahead.
